Online partial discharge detection: LENA and UFSM strengthen their collaboration
Research trip to the UFSM in Santa Maria, Brazil
From June 8 to 12, 2026, a delegation from the LENA Chair at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg traveled to the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) in Brazil. As part of the PROBRAL project funded by the DAAD and CAPES, the focus was on further developing joint research, strengthening cooperation within the DeBraIA study program, and fostering academic collaboration on partial discharge measurement. The week facilitated an intensive exchange between OVGU, UFSM, and other partners and resulted in concrete next steps for the upcoming project phase.
