LENA at the 14th International Conference on the European Energy Market (IEEE EEM2017)

The 14th International conference on the European Energy Market (IEEE EEM2017) takes place in the Technical University of Dresden from 06th of June until 9th of June 2017. This conference addresses interested people from all energy sectors. Starting with participants from industry and politics up to researchers from all over the world. The focus of this conference is on general regulatory conditions, energy markets, storage, sector coupling and much more.
The Chair Electric Power Networks and Renewable Energy Sources (LENA) was represented by Mr. A. Richter with the contribution “Technical Integration of Virtual Power Plants into German System Operation“. The paper presents general conditions for Virtual Power Plants in Germany. Furthermore, a method to calculate the impact of an accounting area on the transmissionsystemoperator hand-over point was explained.
